When:            Saturday mornings (10:00 a.m.) and Wednesday nights (7:00 p.m.)
                       July 19 - August 27 

Where::          Gym at the Evangelical Free Church of Libertyville

Ages:              3rd grade - 8th grade

Cost:              $35 / student

Class info:

  • This course is designed to each students how to resolve conflicts in a harmonious manner using the principles of Aikido
  • Classes will meet every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., July 19-August 27
  • Classes will run for 1 hour each
  • Martial arts uniforms (gi) are not required, but suggested if you have one. Otherwise, wear loose fitting sweats
  • Instructor: Christ Gryparis has a black belt (Shodan) in Aikido and has been teaching children's martial arts classes  for the past three years
  • The course covers several techniques and concludes with two major events where each student will attempt Randori (seizing chaos) against multiple 'attackers,' as well as take his/her first Aikido promotion test.
