Our preschoolers had a lot of fun on Valentine’s Day! We danced, played, watched the movie “Gigi, God's little princess” and we learned that we are princes and princesses because Jesus is our King!
BOZ, the green bear next door, loves exploring God's world and discovering exciting new things with his friends Drew and Gracie, their family and all their friends in the neighborhood.
This summer, LEFC Children's Ministries has been offering one day a month of free childcare, with teaching and fun, for children age 3-5. The children have enjoyed playing with their friends and learning life-long lessons!
At this year's Vacation Bible School, "Power Lab: Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power," children learned how Jesus gives us the power to be thankful, to help others, to be brave, to live forever and--through Jesus--to tell others about God. There were fun science experiments and a daily challenge to put their faith to work. VBS also participated in a Kid-to-Kid Mission project by sponsoring soccer balls that will be sent to South Africa. The kids autographed the balls and prayed for the children who will be receiving them. Each ball has special colors on it that tell the story of God's great love and each is accompanied with a book that connects soccer techniques with the message of God's amazing love. In total, our church reached its goal of sponsoring 30 soccer balls!
