Ernie & Donna Manges have served as missionaries with the Evangelical Free Church of America ReachGlobal in the Philippines since 1987. Their ministry is to “train Asians in Asia to reach Asia”. Ernie has been a Professor of Theology & Church History at the Cebu Graduate School of Theology. He also taught at the Asia Graduate School of Theology in Manila. Ernie continues to train Filipino pastors at CGST, as well as teach module theology classes in Asian nations like Indonesia and China. Ernie leads a team that trains new ReachGlobal missionary candidates. He also writes and teaches professional development courses for ReachGlobal missionaries on the field. Donna has been an instructor in English and Education at the Evangelical Theological College of the Philippines. Donna, presently, is a Speech and Language Pathologist for the Woodland School District.

How are we involved?

When Ernie and Donna first went to the Philippines in 1987, the Libertyville Evangelical Free Church was their sending church. We have the joy of being their home church while they are state-side, and of supporting their ministry financially. Recently, Ernie and Donna have been based in Illinois and we have had the privilege of using Ernie’s teaching expertise in our Adult Bible education classes.
