Mike and Ann Wheeler are located in Cochabamba, Bolivia where Mike works at a seminary which trains Bolivian ministers in teaching and preaching. His positions include being Director of Post Graduate Programs and teaching semi-nary courses. Ann works for Mosoj Chaski Radio, a missions radio station reaching the unreached indigenous Quechua Tribes.
How are we involved?
Mike originally came to our church when he and his first wife, Marge, returned to the U.S. from Cochabamba for treatment for her cancer and he attended Trinity Divinity School for his Doctorate. They both became members of EFCL and Mike taught Sunday Adult Bible Fellowship classes. Our church has walked with Mike through his own cancer diagnosis and recovery, Marge's death, his struggles as a single parent for daughter Amanda, and his return to ministry in Bolivia. We rejoiced with him when he met and married Ann. They now serve together in Bolivia, and it is our privilege to pray for their ministries and that Mike will remain cancer free.
