Please pray for Ernie and Donna Manges, who have been missionaries to the Philippines since 1987. Pray for Ernie's recent work with training national leaders and preparing new missionaries. Pray for the 17 people that Ernie and his team led through the ReachGlobal new missionary training. Also pray for Jill, Lauren and Kyle, who will all be returning to college soon. (7/26/2010)

Please pray for Gordon and Caryl Saunders, our missionaries serving in Germany. Pray for the Saunderses as they pack for their move to the U.S. on August 12. Also pray that individuals from our church will contribute money to help them with their moving expenses. (7/19/2010)

Please pray for Lydia Home, a residential children's program in Chicago that EFCL supports. Pray for the 40 children there who are victims of physical/sexual abuse or neglect. Pray that they would grow in their knowledge of the Lord. Also pray for the Safe Families in our community who provide short-term housing for children in need. (7/12/2010)

Please pray for The Gideons International, whose mission is to win others for the Lord through personal testimony and work by individual Gideons who place the Bible in hotels, hospitals, schools and other institutions. Pray for the Gideons who will distribute Bibles at the Lake County Fair July 27-Aug. 1. (6/28/2010)

Please pray for Wayne and Barb Brink, our missionaries serving with Campus Crusade for Christ in Mission Viejo, California. Pray for their work with the Jesus Film Project around the world. Pray especially for CCC teams who are meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the Haitian people who were affected by the devastating earthquake. (6/14/2010)

Please pray for Lonnie and Debbie Smith, our missionaries who are serving in Marseille, France, and are involved with church planting. Pray for the Smiths as they are planning out a marriage building class to be used in the near future. Also pray for the Smiths while they are on their home assignment this summer. (6/7/2010)

Please pray for Ben and Jeanne Beckner, our missionaries serving in Lyon, France. Pray for God to work in the hearts of the French language students that Ben's team met in his recent trip to Russia. Pray for financial support so several Russian students can go on a mission trip this summer to the Balkans. Please pray for Trinity International University in Deerfield, which is supported by our church. "Forming students to transform the world through Christ" is Trinity's mission. Pray for all those who will graduate from Trinity on May 15 and will be looking for employment. Please pray for Youssouf & Awa Dembele, who serve in the African country of Mali. Please pray for the recent launching of the Khassonke (language of Mali) New Testament and the ongoing translation of the Khassonke Old Testament. Pray for Youssouf's teaching ministry, especially his one-week training seminars for pastors and their spouses. (4/26/2010)

Please pray for Dick and Robin Hart, EFCL missionaries who serve in Amman, Jordan. Pray for PTEE (Program for Theological Education by Extension of which Dick is Executive Director). PTEE has recently acquired a new building for its Ministry Center in Amman. Pray for them to raise another $175,000 for the renovation work. (4/19/2010)

Please pray for Timber-lee (a Christian camp in East Troy, Wisconsin, that our church supports). Pray that families will be economically able to register their children for Timber-lee this summer. Also pray for spiritual growth for the children who will be attending the camps and for wisdom for the young people who will be working then. (4/12/2010)

Please pray for our church's new partnership with Back2Back Ministries. Pray especially for a short-term mission trip to Monterrey, Mexico, that is being planned for October 2-8. Pray for adults from our church to be inspired to join that team and come to the informational meeting on May 9. (4/05/2010)

Please pray for Mike and Ann Wheeler, our missionaries in Bolivia. Pray that the interest level will grow for the master's program at the seminary where Mike teaches. Also pray for Ann as she works out what her future role will be with the missions radio station that broadcasts to the unreached indigenous Quechua tribes. (3/29/2010)

Please pray for Gerry Buchholz, an EFCL missionary in Florida who has been serving with Campus Crusade for Christ for more than 30 years. Pray for Gerry while she is on her second mission trip to the Middle East. Pray that God will open the hearts of the students she meets there. Please pray for Bala and Carol B., our missionaries serving in Southeast Asia. Pray for good respiratory health for Bala when he leaves on March 10 for a trip to Southeast Asia. Please pray for White Cross, a ministry of EFCA TouchGlobal that provides materials to missionaries such as blankets, surgical supplies, layettes, educational materials, etc. Pray for White Cross's work to support the Tandala Hospital in the Congo. Please pray for Keith and Judy Anderson, our ReachGlobal missionaries in Costa Rica. Pray for Keith's latest trip to Colombia for regional meetings with Latin American seminary and Christian university presidents to discuss cooperation in theological education. Please pray for Mark and Athlee Bowman, our missionaries in Japan. Pray for their ministry center called Cafe Co-En (www.cafecoen.com). Pray for God to fill their staff needs at the café, since they will be losing a few volunteers this spring. Pray for their faith goal to return to the mission field at the beginning of this year. Pray specifically that they get the $1450 in new monthly support that they need to make this possible.
