Dick and Robin Hart serve in the Middle East with World Venture. Dick is the director of the PTEE (Program for Theological Education by Extension), which has provided leadership education to over 1800 Middle Eastern church leaders in ten different MiddleEastern countries since its founding in 1981. PTEE provides classes in local churches and allows students to earn their Bachelor of Theology degrees. Many students are lay people who have other careers, but want to learn to serve God and know God more deeply. Robin serves in Amman, Jordan as the principal of Whitman Academy, a school for missionary kids through grade twelve, that she and Dick helped to found.
How are we involved?
Dick and Robin Hart have a longstanding relationship with our church...they were a part of our church family from 1992 to 1996 while Dick completed his doctorate at Trinity International. Their daughter, Christie, came to know Jesus as her savior through the Pioneer Girls ministry and was baptized here at the Evangelical Free Church of Libertyville. Dick and Robin remain in close contact with our church and give us a chance to be servants in the Muslim part of the world.
